To prove it to myself, here's where things stand:
1. The ceilings were scraped of their popcorn, skimmed, primed, sanding (twice), and painted. The ceilings are DONE.
2. The house has been completely prepped for painting, including sanding, taping, patching, windows, etc. Everything is off--all fixtures, doors, plates, hardware.
3. Primer is going on!
Pics or it didn't happen, right interwebs?

Am I imagining things or did they paint that window in the last picture (far left)?
ReplyDeleteIt's this masking film they apply to the windows. Then they can spray with impunity--primer or trim color--and when they are all done painting, all they have to do is peel it off. I don't know exactly what it's called, and since I wasn't there when they prepped, I don't know if they used the self-adhesive film or the liquid version.
